Playing their 6th game against a Top 10 team in 5 games, the Wildcats suffered another loss against Marian. But there were many positives to take away and the Wildcats showed significant improvement with very little practice time. Certainly not the desired result, but the competitiveness displayed tonight is worth noting. The team showed a great deal of heart.
It was nice to see the alumni that showed up in celebrating our 30th year of MWGS as well as the support of alumni, Katie Stoneburner, and her campaign as a Woman of Impact for the American Heart Association.
The Wildcats will again take the field Monday for a game against Buena Vista before heading to the Metro Tournament this week.
