The Wildcats picked up their 7th win of the season in defeating Omaha Westside 2-0.  Despite a slow start to the year, the Wildcats have demonstrated a great deal of grit and continue to battle and the work paid off in this game.

The Wildcats got on the board in the 24th minute off a hard hit direct kick from Leah Pugliese.  The ball slid off the defender's head for the own goal.   With two minutes left in the half, Madison Hutteger laid a perfectly weighted thru ball to Carly Mohatt to give the Wildcats the 2-0 lead.   

The Wildcat defense also played an excellent game holding several dangerous Westside players in check and earned the shutout.   Great job Elle Leece, Kennedy Moore, Alyse Aschebrook, Leah Pugliese, Delaney Green, and Addy Stephens!

The Wildcats also hosted some Future Wildcats.  The future is bright!

The team takes on Bellevue West on Thursday @ 7pm.
