The Wildcats, playing in their 4th game in 8 days, battled a feisty Omaha Skutt team and came away with the win in a shoot out.  Madison Hutteger found Carly Mohatt who slipped behind the Skutt defense and confidently placed the ball to the far post to take the lead in the first half.  Skutt found the equalizer early in the second half when a Skutt attacker was able to find space in front of the Wildcat goal.  Skutt continued to pressure the Wildcat defense, but they held strong throughout the rest of regulation and the overtime periods.  Goalkeeper, Emma McGargill, came up with several impressive saves as well.

The game came down to PK kicks.  McGargill started the Wildcats off with an impressive save on the first Skyhawk kick.  The Wildcat shooters then did their job.  Alyse Aschebrook, Leah Pugliese, Elle Leece, Madison Hutteger, and Kennedy Moore all converted their kicks to secure the Wildcat's second win of the season.

The Wildcats have another tough week ahead with a game on Tuesday, 4/1 at Elkhorn South and then a home game against Omaha Marian on Thursday, 4/3.  At Thursday's matchup with Marian, the Wildcats will celebrate their 30th year of soccer and invite all alumni and their families to the game and a post-game gathering at Ref's.
