The Millard West volleyball team competed in another highly competitive tournament early in the season. Coming off of a Bellevue West tournament with multiple top ten teams, Millard West hosted Fremont, O'Gorman (SD), Elkhorn South, Bennington, and Lincoln North Star.
The first match had the Wildcats facing a much improved Fremont team. They were able to get the best-of-three victory in three sets. Their second match was against a powerful O'Gorman team from Sioux Falls, South Dakota. This was a much cleaner match, and the Cats won in two sets.
Finally, in the championship match, they faced Elkhorn South who had defeated Bennington and Lincoln North Star earlier. The Storm took set one but Millard West was able to rally and win set two. Elkhorn South took and maintained an early lead in set three and defeated the Wildcats. Millard West name senior
