In a high scoring game, #3 Papillion-LaVista South beat Millard West 83-77 in the first round of the Metro Tournament.
Four players on each team scored in double digits.  Millard West was led by Jayden Kozney with 23 points, and Reece Carson scored 22.  Trey Abara and Cade Walker added 12 and 10 points respectively.
Papio South led 25-15 after the first quarter.  Papio South built up a 13-point lead in the 2nd quarter.  West was able to tie the score at 34-34, but trailed 43-38 at the half.
The two teams battled back and forth in the 3rd quarter and were tied 58-58 at the end of the 3rd quarter. The Titans took the lead at the beginning of the 4th quarter and did not give it up for the rest of the game.
