Meet Recap

The Wildcats were in action Monday, May 15th @ Elks CC for the A-3 District Tournament. Elks Country Club is a narrow tree lined, old school, course which puts a premium on accuracy. Miss the fairway and you will be scrambling for bogeys. The Wildcats stuck to the game plan and took their medicine on arrant tee balls. The team finished as district champions with a score of 316. Individually all five Wildcats medaled which is huge accomplishment. Junior Ryan Rogers set the tone early carding a one under par 35 turn score, he finished with a 75 placing 3rd overall. Seniors JT Engelbart & Parker Shamburg tied for 6th with 80’s. Tying for 9th with a pair of 81’s were Seniors Tyler Hahn and Christian Hall. This team continues to build momentum with their best golf still ahead of them. The Wildcats last stop for the year will be be at Norfolk CC for the Boys Class A Nebraska State Championship May 23rd and 24th.
